The Team: 
We are looking for a Middle Office professional to work on the Clear Street Equity and Fixed team; a part of the operations division. This role will be focused on supporting clients and business stakeholders in the middle office function.
The Role:
<ul>
<li>You will perform daily trade captures, confirmations and allocations</li>
<li>Handle daily trade and settlement queries</li>
<li>Investigate and resolve daily positions and nostro breaks</li>
<li>Investigate and resolve regulatory reporting items</li>
<li>Manage the monthly and quarterly Broker Confirmation processes</li>
<li>Assist in the buildout of new applications and help test during integrations</li>
<li>Work closely with business stakeholders to fulfill business requirements</li>
<li>Contribute to process improvement and the general operation of the team and company</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>At least three (3) years of professional experience with and a strong knowledge of Equity/Fixed Income products</li>
<li>BA/BS Degree in Finance or similar major</li>
<li>Strong understanding of equities and fixed income trade processing</li>
<li>Experience in various allocation platforms, Omgeo Central Trade Matching, Fix protocol</li>
<li>Knowledge of Regulatory reporting (CAT, CAIS, Bluesheet, LOPR)</li>
<li>Experience working with large data sets</li>
<li>Self-motivated, high attention to details, and extremely organized</li>
</ul>
We Offer:
The Base Salary Range is $115,000 - $140,000. These ranges are representative of the starting base salaries for this role at Clear Street. Which range a candidate fits into and where a candidate falls in the range will be based on job related factors such as relevant experience, skills, and location. These ranges represent Base Salary only, which is just one element of Clear Street's total compensation. The ranges stated do not include other factors of total compensation such as bonuses or equity.
At Clear Street, we offer competitive compensation packages, company equity, 401k matching, gender neutral parental leave, and full medical, dental and vision insurance. Our belief has always been that we are better as a business when we are all together in person. As such, beginning on January 2, 2023, we are requiring employees to be in the office 4 days per week. The Role: 
<ul>
<li>You will implement real-time P&L, risk, and margin calculations, and ensure timely End-of-Day (EOD) calculations for margin requirements.</li>
<li>Work closely with the product and business teams to understand and translate requirements into technical solutions.</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and data sources.</li>
<li>Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability to handle large-scale financial data with high throughput requirements.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards in the financial domain. </li>
</ul>
The Team:
The Risk Engineering (RENG) team aims to measure the portfolio risk of both our clients and the firm. As a member of RENG, you will become an expert in various risk methodologies (Reg-T, Portfolio Margin) to build efficient, scalable systems from the ground up to quantify and manage these risks in real-time.
Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>At least five (5) years of professional software engineering experience with a proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for backend development with a strong emphasis on building scalable and performant systems.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with Kafka and streaming real-time data processing for building reliable and efficient data pipelines.</li>
<li>Expertise in designing and implementing microservices architecture to enable modular and independent development of system components.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, and MSK for building and deploying cloud-based solutions.</li>
<li>Solid knowledge of data modeling and database systems to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.</li>
<li>Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues in a distributed environment, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.</li>
<li>Proven track record of delivering high-quality, production-ready code adhering to best practices and coding standards.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Skills:
<ol>
<li>Prior experience in the financial domain, particularly in building risk and margin systems for brokerage or trading platforms.</li>
<li>Familiarity with stream processing frameworks like Flink or Spark for handling large volumes of real-time data with low latency requirements. Additionally, familiarity with AWS Kinesis Data Applications is a huge plus.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Snowflake and data warehousing concepts for building efficient and scalable data storage solutions.</li>

The Role:
As an experienced Software Engineer on the Controls Engineering team, you will play an integral role in automating our Compliance & Finance regulatory processes. You'll build on your analytical skills to create solutions that process large amounts of data from our data warehouse to generate clean, correct reporting, including building out reconciliations.
You will partner with key stakeholders across the Compliance, Finance, and Treasury teams to understand regulatory/financial obligations and business requirements, and translate them into clean designs and scalable solutions. As the tech lead in the team, you will provide technical guidance, prioritizing work, perform hands-on design and development and code review, as well as evolve our technical standards and best practices.
Tech Stack: Python, SQL, Snowflake, Retool, Docker, Kubernetes, Argo, Metaplane, REST APIs
Required Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>You have at least five (5) years of software design and development experience including CI/CD, source code control, testing, and quality management.</li>
<li>You are highly proficient in Python, SQL, database design, and have experience working with data warehouses like Snowflake to generate complex solutions at scale.</li>
<li>You are a self-starter with a sense of urgency and an eagerness to learn and explore new technologies as appropriate to solve business problems.</li>
<li>You are a strong communicator who can interact in a clear and concise manner with non-technical business stakeholders, product managers as well engineers.</li>
<li>You have the ability to troubleshoot and logically assess problems and determine solutions.</li>
</ul>
Bonus Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>You have experience working in the post-trade automation space designing and architecting systems that deliver solutions to complex data problems.</li>
<li>You have experience generating complex financial industry regulatory reports like EMIR, MFID, SFTR, CPR, K Factor etc.</li>
