The Opportunity:
We are looking for a driven and experienced Sr. Finance/FP&A Manager to join our team to be part of Flywire’s incredible growth story. We need someone with strong technical and analytical skills who can work collaboratively with other teams, including Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, and Treasury. They will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting, and will work closely with senior leadership to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial performance. 
What we are looking for:

<li>Strong business and financial acumen, excellent analytical and strategic planning skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear answer concise way</li>
<li>A self-starter and proactive finance professional who takes initiative, drives projects to completion, and consistently identifies opportunities to improve processes and outcomes. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented, with a strong ability to work independently and deliver on goals.</li>
<li>Ability to manage and understand business and operational metrics and KPIs, and establish linkage to financial and strategic outcomes</li>
<li>Background in predictive modeling of complex metrics and financials, balancing the science and art of forecasting, and driving actionable results through foresight and insights from forecasting data</li>
<li>Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives across a breadth of stakeholders</li>
<li>Collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities</li>
</ul>
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Develop, maintain, and analyze financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. Key contributor to long range planning, annual budgets and regular financial forecasts, ensuring they accurately reflect the company's strategic goals</li>
<li>Analyze financial data and performance, identifying trends and making recommendations to improve financial performance</li>
<li>Prepare regular and ad hoc financial reports for senior management, providing clear insights into the company's financial status and performance</li>
<li>Work closely with other senior leaders to ensure financial strategies align with company goals, and communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders</li>
<li>Coordinate closely with Investor Relations, Controllership and other finance functions to manage the monthly close and conduct monthly & quarterly results analysis of business performance</li>
<li>Lead ad hoc business analysis and support the ongoing management of key initiatives and investments</li>
<li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide accurate and timely updates on progress.</li>
<li>Stay up-to-date on industry and market trends and best practices.</li>
</ul>
We're looking for: 
<ul>
<li>Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is required; MBA and CPA strongly desired</li>
<li>10+ years of finance experience with management experience inclusive of finance leadership roles and finance expertise</li>
<li>Outstanding leadership, communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills. Proven as an experienced, confident and mature manager and business partner</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and execute across complex functional requirements and global business structure</li>
<li>Strong technical and analytical skills who can work collaboratively with other teams, including Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, and Treasury</li>
<li>Highly organized and detail-oriented, as well as able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li>
<li>Exceptional analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills</li>

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $119,000-$170,000 plus restricted stock units and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, position level, and location. The Opportunity:
Flywire is seeking a Manager, SEC Reporting, to oversee and manage the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual SEC reports ensuring compliance with all SEC rules and regulation and US GAAP accounting standards. This role will report to our VP of Technical Accounting and External Reporting.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of SEC reporting requirements, GAAP, and financial statement preparation. This role requires a strong ability to work cross-functionally, manage tight deadlines, and communicate effectively with senior leadership and external auditors.
What You'll Do:
SEC Filings: Coordinate the preparation and timely filing of quarterly and annual SEC reports (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, etc.), ensuring compliance with SEC rules and regulations.
Financial Reporting: Review and analyze financial statements to ensure all required disclosures are made in accordance with US GAAP and SEC disclosure requirements.
Cross Department Collaboration: Collaborate with the accounting, FP&A, marketing, legal, tax, and investor relations teams to coordinate and review financial information and ensure accurate reporting. Ensure alignment of 10-Q and 10-K with quarterly earnings releases and investor communications.
Audit Management: Coordinate the review of filings with internal and external auditors, including providing necessary documentation and addressing any audit matters.
Internal Controls & Compliance: Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls over financial reporting and SEC filings.
Research & Analysis: Keep current on new SEC regulations, accounting standards, and other relevant guidance. Research complex accounting issues, evaluate the impact of new regulations, and advise senior leadership on the potential impact on filings.
Accounting Policies: Review existing accounting policies for compliance with US GAAP and completeness.
Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance reporting processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Implement tools and technologies to streamline SEC filing and reporting procedures.
Special Projects: Lead and assist in ad-hoc projects related to SEC reporting, financial reporting, technical accounting and internal controls as needed.
Here’s what we are looking for:
<ul>
<li>5+ years of experience in SEC reporting, financial reporting, or public accounting, with a strong background in preparing SEC filings.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance</li>
<li>Experience working in a public company environment preferred.</li>
<li>CPA certification preferred</li>
<li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, & self-motivated with a desire for continuous improvement</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal, project management, oral and written communication skills</li>

Payment Experience roles at Flywire are not your typical ‘support’ roles. You will:
