The Role The successful candidate will join Prosper’s Credit Risk Management Department. The team leverages advanced analytics tools, cutting edge data and techniques to develop credit strategies that govern automated credit decisions in Prosper’s online marketplace. A Credit Risk Senior Analyst at Prosper can apply advanced statistical techniques, algorithms, and industry tools to develop solutions that predict and prevent credit risk associated with Prosper Personal Loans and Credit Cards products. <h3>Problems You Will Solve</h3>
<ul><ul>
<li>Develop credit strategies to improve the credit performance by using data, machine learning models and advanced analytics tools to optimize risk decisions</li>
<li>Bring innovative/out of the box thinking to make recommendations and to approaching/solving problems</li>
<li>Design A/B tests and understand the risk-return trade-offs</li>
<li>Develop loss forecasting projections for Personal Loan and Improve forecasting accuracy</li>
<li>Partner with Product, Marketing and Engineering teams to implement strategies and monitor the strategy performance</li>
<li>Continue to innovate by testing new data, analytics approaches and models</li>
<li>Conduct ad-hoc analysis related to risk management, investor services, product, and operations</li>
<li>Analyze portfolio performance at a granular segment level on an ongoing basis. Identify trends and conduct root-cause analysis to isolate key performance driver</li>
<li>Communicate findings and recommendations to the Risk Management and broader Prosper community</li>
<li>Work with legal and compliance team to ensure strategies and policies comply with all the regulatory requirements</li>

<h3>About You</h3>
<ul><ul>
<li>
Sr. Analyst level: Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or Economics and 5+ years relevant experience managing credit/ fraud risk OR a Master's degree in above areas with 3+ years relevant experience</li>
<li>
Analyst level: Bachelor's degree in above areas with 2+ years relevant experience managing credit/ fraud risk OR a Master's degree in above areas with less experience</li>
<li>Experience managing credit risk and/or fraud and/or data science in consumer lending industry, consumer credit card experience is a plus</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Experience using machine learning and statistical models to develop strategies</li>
<li>Must have strong proficiency in SQL, Python and Tableau. Knowledge of R and Knowledge Seeker will be a plus</li>
<li>Fiserv and/or FICO fraud tool experience is a plus</li>
<li>Strong communication skills – ability to communicate technical subject matter clearly and succinctly to other team members and Senior Management team</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience of segmentation, statistical procedures, and financial analytic tools are required</li>
<li>Curious to ask questions, probe into reasons and challenge the status quo</li>
<li>Self-starter and comfortable dealing with ambiguity</li>

The Role The Complaints Specialist has a responsibility for all aspects of complaint management and the drill down of data, including implementation of correct complaint categorization and resolution.

<li>Manage Complaint various views in Zendesk within SLA (Service Level Agreement) requirement </li>
<li>Ensure well researched and thoughtful Complaint details are clearly and accurately annotated </li>
<li>Perform ad hoc and standard analytics to provide information and analysis necessary to meet business objectives </li>
<li>Conduct special projects related to the complaint handling process </li>
<li>Identify and remediate insufficient customer interactions </li>
<li>Outbound support as needed to close escalated related issues, system failures or immediate remediation projects/processes </li>
<li>Assist on consumer complaints funneled from CFPB, FRB, AG, BBB, and other channels </li>
<li>Adapt to procedural and policy changes according to the training delivered and published </li>
<li>Identify customer pain points and propose solutions </li>
<li>Proactively identify trends and make recommendations for improvement </li>
<li>Achieve performance objectives relating to productivity, quality, and skill development </li>

<h3>What You Will Bring</h3>

<li>High School Diploma (or GED) with a minimum of 2+ years customer complaints or operations experience required</li>
<li>Great root cause analysis skills</li>
