About the Company
MedPro Group is the country’s largest provider of medical malpractice insurance in the U.S. (also called healthcare liability insurance). The company falls under the far-reaching umbrella of Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway, though its history stretches all the way back to 1899, with the formation of the Physician’s Guarantee Company. Intern Reviews
- “There is lots of flexibility for interns and an understanding that we can/should enjoy the college experience while gaining professional experience. My respective team does as a good job of integrating interns into the team as they do with full-time employees.”
- “MedPro cultivates an open and friendly environment resulting in comradery between coworkers. The hours required to work are reasonable and do not interfere with life outside of work.”
- “The internship has been very easy-going if I had to describe it. It is a full-time job (8-4 for most interns), so it is easy to plan around. The overall work environment is friendly, and you can talk to literally anyone. As said before, it is very easy to balance work and life, as it is easy to plan.”
- “Very good culture between the intern and the team. They are flexible with work hours and have a very good attitude toward interns making contributions while still allowing for shadowing of other job opportunities.”
Getting Hired Here
- “Through the entire process, I felt comfortable with the people interviewing me. I felt like they wanted to get to know me rather than just my resume.”
- “Having three interviews with different people gave me the opportunity to meet my supervisors before receiving an offer, and I think they asked appropriate questions for the level of the role and the areas of expertise/knowledge required for the role.”
- “It was multiple rounds with both behavioral and technical rounds with HR and my manager. I was then able to pick which team I wanted to be an intern with, which I appreciated.”
- “The hiring process was what I expected, with the interviews and application process. The interviews were not as serious as I thought they would be, it made it easier to talk and answer questions. Matter of fact, I had a good laugh during the interviews and enjoyed them.”
