Intern Reviews
- “The overall quality of life for my internship was amazing. The nursing staff and managers were flexible and ensured the interns had plenty of time off of work so we could have a good work/life balance. The company culture was great.”
- “Everyone at the Children's Minnesota clinic, from the providers to the support staff, was very welcoming and helpful to me as an intern. They all are very close, and I could tell they have a very good relationship with each other. It was very nice to be included in this dynamic.”
- “Work/life balance is hard in any nursing role, but I think that Children's Minnesota has the best balance I have seen from the hospitals that I have worked at.”
- “I felt much more welcomed as a student intern than previous clinical experiences. The nurses were very kind and happy to help with any questions I had. I worked 24-36 hours a week with 12-hour shifts. I had plenty of time to enjoy my summer as well as learn in the internship.”
Getting Hired Here
- “My interviewing experience was amazing. Although it was via Zoom, the interview felt more like a conversation rather than an interrogation of my experience. The application process is very competitive, but Children's MN does a thorough job of providing everyone an opportunity to apply.”
- “The hiring process and interviews [were] very organized and well handled. It is a very comprehensive and competitive application process.”
- “I feel that my interviewers cared about what I had to say and wanted to learn more about me.”
- “The hiring process was very simple. Filled out the application and then completed an interview over Zoom with a general manager, and they placed me on the unit that they thought I would do best on. The interviewer was great and listened really well. The questions did make you think deeper but were very answerable.”
