Intern Reviews
- “Culture at Lowe's is great, everyone seemed happy to be at work and liked their job. My team was very flexible allowing employees, including interns, to work from home if they needed or wanted to a few days a week. Interns were only permitted to work 40 hours a week. ”
- “I really liked the culture. People were very friendly, welcoming, and honest about their experiences. We worked 40 hours a week, and we were in office M-Th with Fridays being remote. We did have some flexibility with our hours and I was able to take a couple days off (unpaid).”
- “The quality of life during my internship provided an authentic experience of what work would be like. From the collaboration with other cross-functional teams, working 40 hours a week, and providing a great work/life balance.”
- “The firm culture and work environment was amazing. Everybody was willing to help and everyone accepted meetings and worked with me to help me better understand the projects I was working on.”
Getting Hired Here
- “It was very quick. I had one phone call with a university recruiter, then I had a 30 minute behavioral interview followed by a 30 minute technical interview. The interviews were not difficult at all and I believe that their standards are focused more on the person than on their technical knowledge, so I found it fairly easy.”
- “The interview process involved an application that was very reasonable. My recruiter reached out for a brief phone interview and gave me additional information about what the role is like to the best of her abilities, as well as informed me of the structure of the internship. She let me know I would receive a request for a formal interview with my department, which I had virtually and went well. My recruiter informed me when they decided on me and gave me plenty of information leading up to the start of my internship to ensure a smooth start.”
- “I believe I had 2-3 interviews with the recruiter and a panel of hiring managers. The questions were behavioral.”
- “The process was quick and simple, with clear communication about next steps.”
